Joycebot Process

Each figure is designed and modeled digitally then 3D printed based on different current news or cultural events. Each part is printed individually then assembled with the help of a few hand tools and glue.

The average print time for each figure is about 72 hours while assembly time is about an hour each. Each Joycebot is then photographed and layout in a poster format with relevant text from popular news media. There are a total of 70 figures produced in the last 24 months.
